Another BIKE FOR PEACE 2010 -late- update.

As of this post, I am no longer touring the states. However, I do choose to continue updating this blog as time and motivation permits. So, without further delay. Here is another tale of harrowing adventure brought to you by the BIKE FOR PEACE 2010 kids...

(put on dream helmets ....now)

JULY--24th (still not in the thik of it yet)
Thank you Kat at the FLuX Theater in Oakland for the couch.
Thank you Black Dot Cafe for the copious amounts of food, also out of Oak.

Met up with J London and his statue and took a flick, waiting to meet up with Vern, Ron and Yaney. Feeling very hyped and glad to finally meet we all sashayed to the dinner at the BDC. Heck Ron and I even bough some fryed rice. Acceptable.
Ron- "Sore butts and Full Guts".

We all broke and planned to meet up at 8am to ride and eventually meet up with a support crew and their ilk and make a day of it.

Flux Theater was where i found my couch for the night. Finding this company took almost 3 hours of exploring the Oakland lake side, up until I finally asked some bros at a tattoo shot how far I was in correlation. I was far off from reaching my destination.
I called WhoopKat numerous timed to get coordinated and finally hopped on the BART and jammed out and away from the cold night.
.............................................................................................................................................................

JULY 25th
Im off and out the Flux by 5am to catch the Bart and meet up Jacob London Square in the Oak. Crispy ass morning and not to much people out so I had the majority of the road to scorch as I saw fit.

*** We cheated a little and took the train to catch up on the lost time and met up with the Wheelmen***
All the above mentioned where present minus I believe one, who would meet up later.
I suffered a little on the initial breaking in of my bike Thiberuex the luggage and I as well.
The human body is so amazing in how it can change to suit and adapt to any climate. It is the most versatile piece of bio-organic assemblage that I have every had the blessing to own and operate, out-right.

2, flat tires and allot of slow pace up the hill out of Montrose, California. Most of the Wheelmen had taken no time in displaying their prowess in leaving other bikers behind, mainly the touring folk who had to carry all their possessions. (we had no SAG support at this time)
I saw bike computers fall out of pockets of the speedy cyclist, Ron and I just laughed as I cracked jokes at the circumstantials of the "un-weighted cyclists".

I saw a parked oil tanker while passing over one freeway bridge. I felt like pipe bombing something that moment, yet the view from above was pacifying me to move along.

We managed to make out of the dogged freeway and trundle ourselves into the farmlands where the heat of midday would be equal to say, the dangers of falling off a precipice.

I was not prepared correctly enough to veer from becoming hungry and losing energy, but Ron and Vern, bless them, they were versed in finding food along the way, in trees and nuts (Handlebar food).
Forge on, peddle and Muddle on through the heat and severely sweaty day. Conversation where nill and narrowed down to subjects like water, and you would often hear me say "I'm thirsty, hungry, and tired",
"time for a break".

My layered clothing soon began to peel off my sweaty carcass, one by one. (overdressed and maybe not the right gear).

We were warned continuously by Vern to never pour water on top of out head, or we would get tung lashed, if he saw anyone do that.

I saw every piece of shade made from a tree, as if it were a pool of cool refreshing darkness, out of the sun rays. I wanted to lay down in the darkness. I even began to think of ways to find extra water, like dig a deep hole and throw cool dirt upon myself like elephants do to cool off.
One time we all figured to rest in a shady spot in some persons yard and use their water hose and cool off, but though it could have the potential to become perilous.
Maybe we could of had an epic WATER FIGHT!

I ended the day become head achy from being to dehydrated.
*It is said that humans do not drink nearly enough water to keep hydrated*

I mean WATER not soda. Gatorade is acceptable yes maybe but only if your being ACTIVE like they perceive so in their commercials. You know?

It is also not wise to drink energy drinks as that may prove to be your downfall in terms of giving you a heart attack and or become diagnosed as having diabetes...

DONT DRIVE TOO MUCH OF THAT CRAPPY ASS CAR.
BIKE TO WORK ONCE A WEEK.
.......see you on the pathways.....

Bike4Peace2010: Kick off post..

Journal Entry: 7/25/10
Left Santa Cruz; My lady-love and pup and a cool gig are waiting whenbce I return on this ride for Peace. A readily and haste opinion of trains and travel et al.; a nice way to go about, transport, and be there already, where you want to be.

In Oakland: Met the core of Bike4Peace riders. Uypon firt impression, which will most likley advance is time toward complete

Vernon Huffmon: A dedicated, knowledgable man with a big heart. Scruff and tough with a soft side for things important to the environment. He ran for congress? at one time. Likes to eat out of a feed bag, and use his 'bail- out' gear on certain grades.
Yaney: Coordinated, motivated to gather information on things of importance and can remedy the need for plans if needed and would like to ride bikes as much a permitably possible. Likes Vern allot.
Ron Toppi. The streangth of a seasoned rider and worth his weight in precious materials. KNows the ins' n out's of touring, can start up NPO and be hella cool abhout it.
Cynthia M.: The official first timer interms of touring by bike. Accepting and also very supportive. She is one half of the SAG support. Did I mention that she is also our official congressional representative? Yea...pretty kick ass.
Scott T.; Hails from Boston and the collective; Bikes not Bombs, so you know already that there is some coolness happening already. An interesting sense of humor, can cook, and is has a well rounded sense of all things asked of. He can seem reserved but I bet that he is thinking of somthing funny to say and is patient about his timing.
Annie S.: An organized and more specific about planning that any other rider. Like to get the hard climbs done and over in the early AM's and knows the lay of the route well. She is also a consistant rider. It is fun to make her luagh and show interesting thing about plants too.
Start of the ride from Oakland: We started our ride by taking a train out of dodge to an easier starting spot, mainly becuase we were lagging on time and needed to meet up with some other riders!! @@ *activate cheat code shhhh*
(SAG)= Support and Gear.

(santa cruz "intentcity" before the leap of fun).

Desert muddle

B4p.bbnow.org update: nevada desert is unforgiving in that it is a real trial of wits and stamina. The sun slices every part of the human being. We land in a rustic motel on highway 50. I witness a huge land fire off in the distace under the purple sky, slapping mosquitos off, who are just dying to get a drink just like we are. Tomorrow. Rest.

new PleasureBoatRecords release in the pipe line...

Not quite ready...in for mastering at the moment. Not even titled, or for that matter, have an idea of what its context really is saying. I guess I would plan on listening to the raw data and see if I can feel what sort of message I am conjuring up here.  So far its a bloody mess and would do well to have some skin on them bones.

Here is a track from PBR artist and all around nice, warm, tall, and approachable ship mate ---RELCAD.

On the Run..et al

Greetings and welcome.
This shall begin by saying that; Serendipitous events can unfold by law of attraction and maybe luck. The chance to break away from corrupted economics and daily habit slavery and see some of the less gentrified cities in America, was allowable. Sometimes I would guess, the world less traveled by car can seem forthcoming with excitement, the unknowing and sometimes even the dangerous.

But practical methods like meeting symbiont's or strangers can be more prevalent as time unfolds while traveling; yes it is true; there is no danger ahead unless you perceive it to be arduous.
Does there still exist the perceivable impaired art of communication by mouth and mind, thought transference's and body language. Impaired is said as t compare it to new emergent theories of human capacity, like Trans Humanism and Post Humanism, self actualization, immortality, suspended animation and other similar thoughts concieved by humans so that we can be considred to be grouped into newer forms of foraged athanasia.

Dig for your own fantasy!

Granted, I'm not an expert in the articulation of the intricacies of dissemination. Nay. Some may say that I am more reserved and some may say that I an manic at times. That could be an accurate summation to a smaller part of my earthly existence.
The body is but a vessel.
I drink good, healthful tea, play with my dog, listen to good electronic music from respectable artists at times, and relax with my lady.

Naipes FTW!

What else is there but fun in the solar winds and clean breezes; wet nights, early morning wake ups, playing fetch, walking to the dog park at the beach, dream of surfing someday, laxidazing around with nothing to do, biking to Free Skool Santa Cruz, listen to cutting edge electronic music, make post peudo-humanistic electro beats, drink hot tea in an even hotter climate, drink a good beer, stoke the flames, pet my protective dog, meet other traveling souls young and same age, share glances with my girl, caresses and kisses, make jokes, watch liberated movies on a dusty laptop, eat grilled food till we are full, shareing with positive people, drawing comics, thinking up of new ideas for fun and exploration, throw Django's sloppy tennis ball into the Pacific ocean, go to the nude beach, stew in our sweat and dirt for days then go to Well Within for a sauna, cold showers, and super heated hot room, sleep in a tent and feel the most relaxed that I have ever been, dog hairs stuck to every article of my clothing.

Camp In-Tent-City.

Yes I ment to say BLISS.

And you thought that these are the final days of the world? Feel yourself and live again.

...

Fourth of July was like the unyielding spirit of a wild mustang. A purely explosive example of anarchy and mayhem. In the city of Auburn on Muckleshoot reservation it seemed as if Satan's minions had possessed the charred earth for flame and sights set for destruction.
Out of the ground and peoples hands, flames licked with the wind and night as youngsters and adults claimed their rights of passage. The passage was granted to explode your inner angst through conventional means. Sulfur flavored smoke filled every attendees pore, blended with fear and with the hairs of the neck standing on end, after the instantaneous combination of wick mating to black charge ripping the atmosphere of oxygen and all human cautionary senses.

Safe and Sane. Drunk and maimed. There is no one to blame if the shell and shrapnel burns your eyes and blacken your teeth;
Abandon all hope, ye who enter.

Sparks and red embers marking the celebrant patrons day on the 4th. I would not wish to align within the ranks of the need to meme what a war zone should look like, but dammit the abhorrence of it all was worth the experience.

..........................................Be Well to each other.

YO...
So these past weeks have been honestly hecticaotic..and by a friends quote : Geometric shape dancing.
ok soo..
1. 3 School presentations were on the roster for completion. They were not grueling at all but just the fact that committing time for them was a hassle. Inclusive to that was the underlining stressor on completion of composting and leveling a set for an ELECTRONIC music showcase of a local label that my good trusted friend is forging www.pleasureboatrecords.com which btw is THE answer to all our BLISS needs.

So this log post dates all that has transpired into a short small example.
Realistically, there is more to process in whats happening in my life.
Some friends and colleges are transitioning out and into new relationships. Speaking of people personalise is not allowed but, to give acknowledgment to them from a second perspective can shed lite for a growing opportunity.

Well then. I will say that during the last days in Seattle, they are just getting nothing more than memorable and meaningful. Before this was the feeling of discontent which by that right, gives bliss in itself.

end of transmission.

New Music Videos..Tour update..scene happenings

Looks like the Bike for Peace ride will embark from Oakland instead of Seattle to Colorado which, honestly is a secret serendipity of mine that manifested by way of coconut wireless (island speak, mainly because now I have the oppourtunity to spend some serious overdue time with the love of my existing metaphysical life.Recently I have found myself becoming involved with other kindred and supporting spirits whom I am also much vested in, who knows what will transpire. Oh yes the fate of my existance lays with in my psych and cognitive reasoning as well as the chakras. This leads me to make the reminder to myself about Transhumanism and posthumanism concepts of futurism. This does not mean that I will make an attempt to latch onto new existing ideas but to further my scope of knowledge.
There is also a keen interest to have more time applied to concepts dealing with the essences of grounding, meditation, improvisational body contact, (for you love), and of course some reup on music compilation or polyphonic in nature.

Here is an example up above...

so stay UP and ABOVE yourself. Be kind to each other and remain contentiousness.

JAKED GHOST BIKES

Whilst on on a mini park tour around Seattle's finest portside, sketchier parks, I noticed a bike that resembled a GHOST BIKE, yet it was being operated by a possible homeless man.  SEE?

Q: what are the ethics if any that argue for or against JACKING a GHOST BIKE?
Does this man have no scruples, has he played the game? If a man is homeless, hungry, without means of viable travel, then does SNACKING a GHOST BIKE justifiable, and should he be reported? After all he is re-introducing a perfectly good bike back into it operational state, right? There are a number of pros and cons here that we could gaggle about for hours and feel like we've made some progress for some existential purpose. I say let the guy ride.
If the original owner "may the heavens keep his/her at peace", advocate for a complete overhaul in bike awarness then can this GHOST JACK be blessed by the original owner, "RIP"?

So, some time has definitely passed. School is picking up a little more and I should be focusing on important aspects, like (behavioral psychology class, and the fun class of H20 health Analysis). --->
Ive picked up some insightful new data collecting tools on how to perform a Stream Visual Assessment or SVAP. With this newly acquired perception, I will now have an O-data source of measurements, whilst on the Bike For Peace tour. I guess I intend to log as much as I can and then sort it out into some type of presentation, possibly to apply for grant money or what have you.

Spring in Seattle...what is there to say? ------------------------>
I could enjoy these last days here learning as much as I can about WA and how often it is surprisingly still passive, or am I that is the product of my own ignorance?
As far as biking goes I've gone out scouting for essential supplies for sustaining my tea drinking habit. I really like to geek out on drinking certain teas.

Thank you Broom Possum, Naturebot and others who subconsciously encouraged me to drink tea as a staple and mind focus. Coffee for me is to gross to tame and my teeth probably could not withstand all that mouth deterioration.

Producing music is still one of my more major time consumers and is the hub of my existing need to release inner anxieties and angst's. I am currently centered on creating a subversive type of dark, moody texture what with whatever implementations I possess. ------>

I'm sure that the more I post about things in between, the more substance this blog will yield in relation to what I deem "muy importante".

Carry on..

TIME LINE of EVENTS

Oil spill in the gulf:
This literally translates to a much needed relief effort.
Meaning.
I have a reason to leave and travel down to help with  the cleanup.
MOTHER EARTH NEEDS US NOW!
OIL Corporations do not care. BP can die a slow painful death.  British oil barley offered their position on the remedy: FuCK ROBOTS send in your president and use his fucking body to plug the hole..

Jacky would of dug this.

On the optimistic side. The need for OIL should decrease and as the prices will skyrocket.
I smell a conspiracy somewhere.

And Arizona legislature has proved once mopre that they have theri ass up their heads but passing the legalization to racial profiling.
sigh.

Mikhail Bakunin probably knew what to do in time of crisis.

MOre work in now needed on that front as well in terms of empowering and educating the BBQing proletarians and peeps who are stealing their freedom instead of applying for citizenship need to WAKE THE FUCK UP.

Kropotkin would of disseminated grace and separation from control systems, and dug this..

 Stay frosty people.

Culture Jam On It!

Im offering youa a quick sysnthesis on things that are nice to see and things that are to close to encroaching on the humanistic freddoms inherent. Some times I enjoy the simpler things nestled between reality and fiction. Such as this:
This is raw Culture Jamming in action.
Notice the non plussed subversive tatctic (sloppily painted and sorta weak photo) executed with as intended message that permeates the cognitive reality that MOST laymen on the street would not notice it other that CRIMINAL DAMAGE. BUT with in these angstily coded messages, they offer the a perspective of reality that then trancendes the keen eye to become wary of monetized service and goods, masked as iconinc worshiping and dishonest versions of sustinence options placed with in a religious zelot context perspective.
This is a true Way to Jamm!

Then there are the times when life feeds you a promise of a better, healthier more anti-oxidinated future-style..Such seredipidous found events can occurr within the illutional matrix.  They offer a lost person a new pahtos and to remember to breath deeply every day and experiance a real life for what it can offerr.

So then we can only summate this presentation with the offer to begin living and to also LET GO of civilizations clutches!

And to dissconnect from the dissalusioned lifestyle that only leads one to an unconcious willingness to conform to a life utterly powerless and devoted to a loss of self  control.
Next on the Agenda.
LIFE!

Home to Gutar Center and back again

I placed a couple of M-Audio midi controllers up on Craigs List earlier last week with the intent to sell at an unresonably cheap price. They were sold within a day. @ 45$ total. YAY!
Today I spoke with my gear head buddy The Naturebot who blessed me with insight to the versatility and portability of the Akai Nano controllers that I had my eye.

So I made my way to Guitar Center.

U-Dub To Antioch in 20 minuites

Todays ride is brought to you by the letter "F".
Use the word ina sentance: I believe that a school education should be FREE and not have to cost money.
That is my UTOPIAN minded persona extroverting its self. Appropriate.

This mapped route typifies my academic commute and on more than often days, I usually consider taking the I-5 bike route onto Harvard ave then through the designated walk/bike path. I find the ride to be the most efficiant, and by that I mean less car trafficand more velocipedes.
Such a world is possibe, need I explan. If that is the case then read my dissertation on why Bikes are the Proven Enviromental Justice down below.

nothin is going on today,

but reading, unless I count arguing on YouTube with some person about sensationalizing driving a car as depicted in their videos and making snide remarks there after. I did save face though and made amends for the personal flame war,
Not the mention the sound design exploration I made myself go through in order to feel fulfilled about completion.
However, let me see what is happening on the world of outdoor activitiessince I rarley made it past two blocks today in order to get me some tasty donuts i did no such activity today it too cold and bleak with waaay too much auto traffic whizzing by. Maybe its the Northwests colder air temperatures that allow for a compressed air intake so cars can run faster and burn fuel higher velocities compared to say dry hot Arisona weather.

Any way I love this video..

effufatboii

I almost got derezzed by a motorist today while using the south bound (2nd ave) sharrows.
I got miffed, he had no ground and flipped a chubby greesy middle, I blasted him with a loud insult, he got punked and sped up and off, over the speed limit, as if to run away like acoward and continue on with his ignorant bliss like a good little fat PELICAN should.
You just like all the other weak fat american slobs who are using only 2 senses when your in a car. Your not progressive if your morbidly obese and drive in a late model german auto. It makes you seem desperate and exposes you to the world that you are oblivious and ignorant to all that is around, when you try to pass off as such.

"Bicycling is the New Paradigm Shift"

“Biking Is Environmental Justice”

The Pollution of Want

Many people would agree to create their life in such a way that it produces healthy, meaningful developments within their environmental zeitgeist. Even non-human creatures would need some kind of healthy environment that could support and ensure their species survival. However, at this very moment, our environmental sustainability is in jeopardy and the rate of inevitable peril has past the tipping point for any easy repairs to be made. Why has this been occurring? One of the main contributors to the destabilization of our climate would be excessive Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide emissions, along with other pollutant that contribute to global warming. Data relative to the negative effects of climate change and environmental shifts translate to a compromise in the importance of human and non-human livelihoods and is heavily affecting our natural resources. Current levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) for the month of February 2010 are at 389.91 ppm (parts per million), the acceptable level should be at 350 ppm for a nominal dose of CO2, (Oxygen, 2010). Since February of 2008, the CO2 levels have increased at roughly 2.50 ppm to 2010. People will say that that is not much of a difference to the atmosphere. Consider that for every part per million of CO2 there is in the atmosphere, that has not dissipated, it would equal to about 2.13 giga-tons, that is floating in the air above, (CDIAC, 2003). Imagine that the sky may literally fall one day.
People who are mostly contributing CO2 to our environment are the ones trading in longevity of sustainable life on earth for the immediacy of wants in material goods and wasteful needs. It seems as though more people are shifting toward a wasteful culture, driving expenses of oil and electricity up, and adopting the more esthetically pleasurable super-consumer behavior. People seem to want growth fostering occupations that can support a wasteful lifestyle. The products of the archaic eighteenth century concept of industrial revolution or mechanical age need to come to and end. The earth cannot sustain humans any longer with old concepts. A new paradigm shift is poised for the podium at this moment. Transportation needs should reduce back to simpler methods. Because of misrepresentation and deception in the media circuit, people are led to think that material wealth can compensate for a lack of environmental awareness and compassion. Have humans forgotten how to be the responsible shepherd? What ever happened to the defenders of earth? The conservationist and activist group Sierra club has this to say about the preservation of out natural environment:
“To explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth; To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources; To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.”
Sierra Club Policies-
The existence of responsible consuming is possible and would only require meager changes in personal behaviors and also some basic, affordable changes in reusable materials like metals, electricity and use more organic based products. Switching the transportation wants from an automobile leisure to a bicycle is one sure fire way to begin healing the atmosphere and decelerate the want to consume oil. The want to over consume should be restructured so that not over consuming would compliment toward repairing our fragile environment instead of clogging it with combustion engine bi-product emissions. Here are some percentages about the modern cars mechanical efficiency from the web site, www.fueleconomy.gov;
“Only about 15% of the energy from the fuel you put in your tank gets used to move your car down the road or run useful accessories, such as air conditioning. The rest of the energy is lost to engine and driveline inefficiencies and idling. Therefore, the potential to improve fuel efficiency with advanced technologies is enormous”.
EERE, 2010
If this “enormous potential” for improvement of fuel efficiency has not been met since the first car was manufactured, why has it taken so long for a car to become efficient? The energy efficiency of a bicycle is exactly one hundred percent, you get exact amount of power output with every pound of input.
The Comparison of Mechanisms
The first bike was invented sometime in the eighteen hundred’s, arguably by a French son and father team who used to build carriages. The bicycle is without arguing the worlds first zero carbon mechanism ever invented. The first mass produced car, called the model “T”, was manufactured by Henry Ford. The automobile was obviously invented through a capitalist point of view. Henry stated that his reason for mass producing the model T was to, “make a motorcar for the great multitude”, which at the time was actually meant for the people who could actually afford one (Wiley, 1996). The cars invention is not practical and is a mere item of luxury and status. The invention of the car can be attributed to the expansion of civilization yes but it also invented urbanization, classification or separation of wealth, war, and marked the beginning of industrialized pollution (Evens D., Onorato M., Cengage, G. 1997). The bicycle was invented for exploration, activity, and for the natural health benefits that it provides. The bicycle is a safe and sane way to achieve self confidence. The car symbolizes a mental, mechanical and physical separation from interaction to society within a protective enclosure. A bicycle contributes to mental stimulation, symbiotic connectivity to surroundings, and sensible exposure to immersive environments. Humans can become healthy again and at the same time begin the depletion of harmful polluting emissions that are dominating our atmosphere in the giga-tons every year.
The late bicycling enthusiast Ken Kifer has dedicated an information web site that is conducive toward bicycling as an emerging cultural consciousness. On Kens’ web site he reviews an article from “Pedaling Health” which translates the beneficial aspects of bicycling in regards to a person’s mental health. Ken cites authors: Ian Roberts, Harry Owen, Peter Lumb and Colin MacDougall; who are all bicycle enthusiast as well, and who have also made contributions to the medical fields with respects to bicycling. They recommend; bicycling and walking as the best choice for exercise, bicycling being the most beneficial for the mind and body, (Kifers, 1999). Bicycling even in moderation can lead to lower risks of heart disease, cholesterol, heart attacks, high blood pressure and strokes, (Kifers, 1999). Among the other leading causes of physiological death, the car contributed 41,611 people being killed in auto accidents in 1999, and an average of 114 people die each day in car crashes in the U.S, (NTSB, 1999). Where can the total average number of fatalities be at today?
A bicycle, tricycle, or even a unicycle, all have characteristics that offer the benefactor an increase of self confidence, mental stimulation, a decrease in depression and social anxiety, and more importantly is the stabilization of blood flow (Barr, Sallis, & Richard, 1985). Utilizing a bicycle daily can also facilitate in restructuring the car centralized mind-set to a velocipede centered mind set. A velocipede in etymological terms is broken down to, [velo=fast and ped=foot], which means “fast foot” in Latin. People would be very much appreciative of being addressed to being fleet-footed, as it can be interpreted as a compliment! Modernization is synonymous with words like advanced, quick, immediate, now, compressed, economical.
The American Paradox
The American paradox is: we grow the fattest people that any other country and prioritize consumer goods way past what is the recommended necessity, yet contribute to modernizing and efficiency the least. America is at the top in regards to inventing new wasteful cultures that produce the most pollution. Bigger is not better, bigger is cumbersome and wasteful. American waste cultures are based on the ease of accumulating unnecessary things for the wealthy and leaving nothing behind for the poor. “If Americans were not born liberal, as most of them are, they would become so through the riches readily drawn from resources that appear inexhaustible”, (Times, 1967). Oil and other fossil fuels are exhaustible, and so is our atmosphere. The want for increased automotive speeds to get from point A to B is not feasible and produces inefficient uses of resources that mostly get burned into the environment, where it lays for years, dissolving the earths’ ozone layer. American’s adopt economically biased slogans like; “Nothing says success like excess”, while other counties that cannot match America’s affluence, are labeled as being third world. What does that slogan say about America’s biases in regards to our enormous carbon footprint? The lion’s share of finite resources mainly goes to the wealthy and the “well to do” often translates to the accumulation and privatization of resources such as land ownership and consumer goods, which is estimated at about seventy six point six percent for the well to do. The small, wealthy percentile was about at twenty percent in 2008, compared to the poor who are the remaining percent and yet the wealthy pollute and consume the most of all. The pursuit of convenience and misguided concept of efficiency seems to be the American point of interest and yet the questions remain regarding origin of needs and wants. If people asked themselves before making a purchase; do I really need this new technology, car, house, and child? The conscientious consumer would most likely consider to option for sustainability rather that a whim. The waste cultures are not answers that compliment the American dream but a consumerist control system designed to enslave people to a daily need for work so that they can keep the capitalist economy running and in tune for a capitalist society. American’s spend most of their time and money, in the billions, prioritizing on needless materials like make up and war, while education and health care are suffering from lack of investment, as cited in an article titled Consumption and Consumerism, (Shah, 2008).
The Paradigm Shift is Ready Now
With the inherent possibility of a “zero carbon” lifestyle through the use a bicycle, environmental justice is validated on many platforms as described in this synthesis. A zero carbon, environmentally justifiable lifestyle is attainable through sheer human power and a bicycle. As stated, bicycling, as an alternative transportation mean, can provide for a healthier livelihood, optimal use of finite resources, if needed at all, and a reduction in the need/want consumer culture, plus there are guaranteed improvements on a sociological level, and transportation. Bicycling can help build sustainable, exploratory communities, and it is also poised to raise the development of new opportunities toward a more progressive and resourceful minded future. The American people’s interest in exploration and awareness for the environment is also piqued in that bicycling can offer a whole new perspective in transportation planning and open up new opportunities for unique tourism. The falsities created to disprove, deregulate and discredit bicycling as an advantage is primarily a deception. Capitalism can only thrive if the demand factor is always there and is exploitable for profit. Americans tend to disregard the fact that they are addicted to oil, and therefore will always produce the demand for it because we blindly believe that the economy is driven by money instead of people, which is an unrealistic and distorted sensibility. The concept of commerce and maximization of profit was created by those who invented the concept of capitalism. If more emphasis was directed away from planning new highways for cars and more toward a well designed transit system the demand for car would decrease. America does not need more goods and service what it needs is a more efficient plan to use goods and services for maximization. Bicycling would dissolve the need for oil and thus remove the need for demand of capitalized resources. The new bicycling paradigm shift would also expose distorted information that is devised as a detractor built to steer people away from self autonomous livelihood. Bicycling is the answer we have all been waiting to wake up to, and it is the very tool people must consider to begin building the proven validity of the bicycle lifestyle as a means for global re-stabilization. Bicycling is the new paradigm shift. Why? It is because people are concerned and accustomed to evolution in consciousness and are self motivated enough to make the necessary changes for a better lifestyle, if they want it. The existence of a mental fixation on oil is preposterous and concludes to the proliferation of ultimate climactic abolishment. People need to wake up from the ether of dependency and evaluate what progress means in terms of a lengthening a healthy human existence for generation to come. A bountiful future cannot exist when there is an over saturation of choices for consummation and nowhere to put the waste. Dangerous amounts of air pollution would not exist in a city that is planned around a bicycle. If there was no need for a car, there would be no need for tires, metal shops that create allot of pollution to make the car frames would be under control, plastic and glass factories would be smaller and possibly more efficient. If the earth had more oxygen and less pollution then people would be able to breathe more of the oxygen, which in turn would help the brain to develop efficiently with increased intelligence and reason and with higher intelligence comes optimal ways to create a sustainable civilization bent on the exploration of earths’ wilderness resource by bicycle or on foot.
Now we face the question whether a still higher “standard of living” is worth its cost in things natural, wild, and free. For us the minority, the opportunity to see geese is more important than television, and the chance to find a pasque-flower is a right as inalienable as free speech”.

Mary MSW, my global warming and environmental justice professor
advised me to become aware of subtle changes in the surrounding
environment and when on bike tour, to begin speaking to local
folks about any noticeable changes they have noticed in their
local resources.
I thought; what kinds
of ways are there to
track, log and present
theses subtle environmental
changes and into a graphical
representation within the artistic
narrative spectrum?

Daily ride is always the same but different!

Really
got
to find
another
bike route from and to home:
or do I?
Maybe the street, dirt and fallen tree
leaves
I pass
are telling in code to "keep going".
Maybe to look up to the "sky".
What else is there to do but move
forward? When will I see my big picture?
Whatever~ I'll just follow this path over here, and see where that goes!

CloudCitySound MIX! by yanomas. Hello Everyone!

Mass Conversation with YaNoMas by Pleasureboat Records

This mix, if viewed in a contextual meaning is meant to pique the interest of the progressive modern mind. The castings of electronic music that creators thought of to completion using a systemic logic or chaos and strategy. The produce of the perversly obsessive electronic music enthusiast, the hardware junkie, the rapper, the tinkerer, the sexualy active etc.
